Office Administrator/Receptionist – Griffith, NSW (30 hrs/wk)
Join Flavourtech as a part-time Office Administrator/Receptionist. Duties and responsibilities include:
– Providing administrative assistance to management including reception, answering and directing all incoming calls and handling customer enquiries, visitor and meeting management, banking and mail.
– Assisting in the planning and coordination of staff events and customer meetings as required.
– Assisting with the development, coordination and compliance of training and induction processes.
– Monitoring, reviewing and purchasing uniforms, first aid kits and consumables.
– Monitoring and maintenance of WHS systems and record keeping.
– Responsible for maintenance of company intranet and general staff communications.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
– Previous administration and reception experience
– An ability to multi-task and adapt to change
– An ability to problem solve and use initiative, attention to detail, and ask for clarification on procedures when required
– Competency in using computers and exposure to Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel)
– Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
– Driver’s license and own transport preferred

Finance Manager – Griffith, NSW
Flavourtech’s Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance function and implementing the strategy and direction for the function, as provided by the General Manager. In addition, the role shall identify and implement systems, policies and processes for the Finance function which will improve financial monitoring, accountability and growth across all facets of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
– Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial and management reporting
– Preparation of annual accounts for audit and annual statutory reporting
– Administer, train and provide support and take ultimate responsibility for the Finance ERP system
– Supervision and performance management of the Financial Accountant, Accounts Officer and Administration Assistant
– Monitor the day-to-day financial operations such as payroll, invoicing, general administration support and other transactions including insurance and international shipping
– Complete BAS, Superannuation, FBT, audit and tax returns and other statutory compliance requirements for all entities (including international entities)
– Completion and monitoring / reporting of annual budgets
– Provide financial and analytical support to the General Manager and Board of Directors
– Guide and coach department managers and Board members to enhance financial literacy, including guidance with compiling budgets and forecasting. Provide support to stakeholders around budgets, spending, reporting and financial accountability.
– Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient and effective operation of the Finance function
– Performing adhoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation
– Develop strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effectiveness of communications and resolution of issues
– Ensure cross training of finance and other tasks by the whole Admin / Finance team
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
– Degree qualified in commerce, business or accounting
– Experience managing the annual audit and preparing annual financial statements
– Strong knowledge of ERP software or equivalent accounting package and MS Excel
– Demonstrated experience in managing a medium sized organisation’s accounting, tax and statutory compliance requirements
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience of working collaboratively and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups
– Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision
– Continuous improvement mindset
– Previous experience in an international firm would be considered an advantage
Technical Manager/Chemical Engineer – Griffith, NSW
Flavourtech is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Technical Manager. The role entails a range of tasks including:
– Managing the design, development, and implementation/commissioning of new capital projects
– Providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams
– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry and safety standards
– Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product performance and efficiency
– Acting as a liaison between the engineering team and other departments within the organisation
– Developing strong, collaborative and productive relationships within the team, company, clients and suppliers
– Ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard in order to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations
– Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as required
– Be physically fit and able to lift and carry more than 10 kgs
– Must have current work rights in Australia
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
– Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
– Minimum 5 years post university working in a related field
– Strong understanding of process engineering principles and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
– Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
– Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to ensure skills and knowledge to achieve desired objectives of the position
Draftsperson – Griffith, NSW
Flavourtech is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its Drafting team. The role entails a range of tasks including:
– Preparing plant layouts to suit customer requirements.
– Designing equipment and detailing fabrication drawings for the workshop.
– Liaise with Project Managers and trades persons.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
– A Certificate IV Mechanical Engineering. A Diploma in Engineering would be considered an advantage.
– Sound drafting experience. Experience in mechanical drafting would be considered an advantage.
– A high level of proficiency in Autodesk’s Inventor and Excel is imperative or experience with AutoCAD and other 3D drafting software would be well regarded.
– The ability to collaborate effectively with others and well developed oral and written communication skills.
– A proven ability to problem solve and high attention to detail.
– Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry or Chemical Process Industry would be considered an advantage, but is not essential.
