Storeperson – Griffith, NSW

A unique opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Flavourtech team in Griffith as a Storeperson. In this role you will assist the Store to order, receive, handle, sort, and dispatch goods. This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated worker who has some experience and is looking to take the next step in their career. We would also consider applicants at an entry level, looking to start their career via a traineeship.

This is a permanent full time salaried role, Monday to Friday 40 hour week, with occasional Saturday work.

Key responsibilities include:
– Receiving, scanning, sorting and placing incoming goods on shelves.
– Unloading and loading of containers/vehicles of goods both inwards and outwards.
– Operating computer systems to obtain details of stock quantity and location.
– Operating machinery such as a forklift to lift, place and remove items.
– Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of store.
– Assisting with packing and physical movement of goods according to workload demands.
– Working in accordance with strict Work Health and Safety guidelines. Ensure department is kept clean and tidy at all times, walkways are clear and participate in housekeeping programs.
– Other duties to assist the team as required.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
– Proactiveness and willingness to learn
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
– Experience with computer programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
– The ability to work as part of a team and independently

– Current driver’s license
– A Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)

Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician – Griffith, NSW

Key responsibilities include:
– Assisting with the manufacture of a range of Flavourtech plant and equipment, and detailed recording of manuals for our international and domestic customers.
– Assisting with packing, installation, service and maintenance work, fault finding/problem solving on the range of Flavourtech plant and equipment at customer sites in Australia and overseas.
– Assisting with the preparation of service reports and reconciling expenditure whilst travelling.
– Complying with work health and safety rules and regulations.
– General maintenance, site and workshop duties, maintain a clean and tidy working environment.

Applicants should have the following qualifications/attributes:
– Cert III Mechanical Engineering trade certificate
– Strong awareness of safe working practices
– Experience in the maintenance of rotating machinery, pumps, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, valves and instrumentation
– Customer focused with good communication skills
– Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
– Computer literacy – good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
– Current Driver’s License
– Be physically fit and able to lift and carry more than 15 kgs

Field Service Engineer – The Netherlands

Due to the impending relocation of our EU operations to the Food Valley Wageningen, we are seeking a suitable person to join our European team based in Food Valley region of The Netherlands. The successful applicant will be expected to provide Service/Technical expertise covering the range of Flavourtech and associated third party equipment, performing functions such as;
– Onsite customer service, maintenance and installation
– Fault finding/problem solving
– Providing maintenance and trial assistance in relation to our European Pilot Plant facility

Applicants should have the following qualifications/attributes:
– Fully conversant with safe working practices.
– A range of Service Technician/Engineer experience related to process equipment such as rotating machinery, pumps, heat exchangers, evaporators, centrifuges, valves and instrumentation.
– A trade certificate equivalent to Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate III
– General electrical background and safe working with electricity
– Customer focused with excellent communication skills
– Team player
– Computer literacy – good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
– Current Passport for International travel
– Current Driver’s License

Other skills/attributes of additional interest include:
– Basic electrical knowledge
– Forklift license
– Experience of working within food/beverage/dairy/pharmaceutical environment
– English speaking and experience in working with a range of cultures and nationalities

The role requires a substantial amount of international travel. Comprehensive training on Flavourtech products will be provided. An attractive remuneration package is available commensurate with qualifications and experience.
