Storeperson – Griffith, NSW
A unique opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Flavourtech team in Griffith as a Storeperson. In this role you will assist the Store to order, receive, handle, sort, and dispatch goods.
This is a terrific opportunity for a motivated worker who has some experience and is looking to take the next step in their career. We would also consider applicants at an entry level, looking to start their career via a traineeship.
Your responsibilities (not limited to):
– Receiving, scanning, sorting and placing incoming goods on shelves
– Unloading and loading of containers/vehicles of goods both inwards and outwards
– Operating computer systems to obtain details of stock quantity and location
– Operating machinery such as a forklift to lift, place and remove items
– Assisting with regular stock takes and cleaning of store
– Assisting with packing and physical movement of goods according to workload demands
– Assist with the quality assurance (QA) process
– Working in accordance with strict Work Health and Safety guidelines. Ensure department is kept clean and tidy at all times, walkways are clear and participate in housekeeping programs
To be successful in this role, you will have
– Proactiveness and willingness to learn
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills
– Experience with computer programs (Microsoft Word and Excel)
– The ability to work as part of a team and independently
– Complement our company values – driven, collaborative, focused on continuous improvement and a positive attitude
– Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry up to 15 kgs
– Current driver’s license
– A Forklift license (or willingness to obtain)
– COVID-19 vaccination
– Valid Visa with unlimited work rights
