Positions Available
Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician – Griffith, NSW
This is your opportunity to take the next step in your career as a Mechanical Fitter / Service Technician with Flavourtech. The successful applicant will play a key role in the packing, installation, service and maintenance of Flavourtech plant and equipment at customer sites in Australia and overseas. This is a permanent full-time salaried role, Monday to Friday 40 hour week.
The duties will include:
- Assist with the manufacture of a range of Flavourtech plant and equipment, and detailed recording of manuals for our international and domestic customers.
- Assist with packing, installation, service and maintenance work, fault finding/problem solving on the range of Flavourtech plant and equipment at customer sites in Australia and overseas.
- Assist with the preparation of service reports and reconcile expenditure whilst travelling.
- Comply with work health and safety rules and regulations.
- General maintenance, site and workshop duties, maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
Applicants must have the following qualifications/attributes:
- Cert III Mechanical Engineering trade certificate and experience in the maintenance of rotating machinery, pumps, mechanical seals, heat exchangers, valves and instrumentation.
- Strong awareness of safe working practices.
- Customer focused with good communication skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to work unsupervised
- Computer literacy – good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Current Driver’s License.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestic and internationally.
- Be physically fit and able to lift and carry more than 15 kgs.
Stand out candidates may possess a passport, truck license, white card, work safely at heights, EWP, confined spaces, first aid and high risk work licenses (LF, DG, Rigging).
A salary package will be negotiated commensurate with qualifications and experience.
